Panera Is Getting in on TikTok's 'Little Treat Culture' Movement

If you're not as deeply immersed in online activities, you might have missed the recent social media buzz around something called "Little Treat Culture." It's a simple concept designed to uplift your day-to-day spirits. The idea is to indulge in small, delightful treats that you can enjoy at various points throughout the day, providing a little extra happiness. And several businesses, like Panera, are capitalizing on this trend, offering miniature delights for those who prefer a more subtle indulgence.

In June, Panera introduced a collection of new breakfast options that cater to both savory and sweet cravings. They also unveiled their Little Big Treat Menu, featuring some genuinely extravagant CinnaTops, showcasing an elevated level of indulgence.

"Whether it's after completing a routine task, wrapping up a lengthy conference call, or during an afternoon stroll around the block, any moment that calls for a little break deserves more than just a simple treat," the company shared in a statement to Food & Wine. "Panera believes you should be able to start your day with a touch of decadence, and the new CinnaTops are the perfect indulgence to reach for in those instances."

The CinnaTops are crafted around a cinnamon roll base and come with a frosting topping, complemented by a selection of Panera bakery items. Your choice can be any one of these delightful options: candy cookie, chocolate chip cookie, or fudgy brownie. Each CinnaTop is priced at $4.79, making it a budget-friendly pick for that under-$5 little treat you're craving.

This Friday, Panera is expanding its Little Big Treat Menu even further. One new offering is the Bacon Double Take sandwich, featuring "double the bacon of a traditional Panera breakfast sandwich, along with two types of cheese for an extra layer of flavor." Additionally, they're introducing the Steak and Wake, a limited-time item made with marinated, thinly-sliced steak served on Panera's signature Ciabatta bread.

Panera is offering more than just delicious food this summer. They've launched their most generous Sips Club membership yet, giving new subscribers who join by August 31 three months of unlimited drinks. Pair these with some well-deserved tiny snacks for the perfect summer treat.
